School Volunteers, Students and Work Experience

We would be delighted to hear from any parent or carer who feel they would like to help, volunteer or contribute to the life of the school in some way.  Many parents and carers come in to help within the classroom with tasks such as reading, art, phonics and any other activities deemed necessary within the school.  We will also consider supporting work placements associated with a course of study.

If you are available , please request a volunteer application form from the school office or via email to admin@torridonprimary.lewisham.sch.uk.  We take the time to make sure we match our volunteers’ skills and interests with the needs of  the school so as to ensure that we make the best use of the valuable time that volunteers give.  In line with our safeguarding policy, we also require all volunteers to undertake enhanced DBS checking which takes time to process.

If you would like to speak about volunteering, please either email admin@torridonprimary.lewisham.sch.uk or contact the school via telephone – 0208 697 2762.
