Friends of Torridon PTA
The Friends of Torridon PTA is the school’s Parent Teacher Association.
All families are automatically members of the Friends of Torridon PTA when their children join our school.
PTA helps the school and enhances children school life
Fundraising efforts from PTA have been used to:
- Improve air quality by planting new laurel bushes and trees on the perimeter of the school
- Enhance the playground with climbing frames and a climbing trail
- Create a new Reading Room
- Improve privacy with bamboo fencing for Nursery and Reception areas and laurel hedge around playground

All parents are warmly invited to join us. Whether it’s time, ideas or expertise – we welcome your help in whatever form you can offer!

PTA organises fun events for children and school community
Events that we have organised includes:
- Christmas Disco
- Sponsored Bounce
- Fun Run for children and local 10k run for parents
- Welcome and Christmas Fairs
- Street Play
How we raise money
Directly from events or grants from foundations supporting PTA organisations.
Other ways to donate involve parents and carers indirect or match funding

Charity details
We are registered with the Charity Commission and are a member ParentKind (former PTA+ UK) who provides our insurance and lots of advice and support.
