Spring 1 – ‘Travel and Transport’
When you are out with your child, identify different types of transport. Count how many different types that you see. Count the number of red cars, the number of white vans etc, you can also help your child to describe the method of transport.
If you can go on a trip and try to use as many different types of transport as you can – bus, DLR, train, scooter, walking … Take photographs of your child using the different methods of transport and bring them in for our display.
Read with your child everyday.
